Psychonauts 2 wont start missing .dll file
Hello, I hope your doing well! I recently installed psychonauts 2 through steam on my computer. However when I do so it won't launch. I tried running as administrator but it gave me an error message of api-ms-win-core-version-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer.
I'm running the game on windows 7 which it says the game supports on steam. And with a pretty okay/good gaming laptop core i7 and nvida 980m gpu. I really just want to play the game I was so excited!!!!
If there's anyway someone could help it would be deeply appreciated! Please! Idk what to do

P.s here are all the things I've done so far.
- Restarted my comp
- Uninstalled and re installed the game through steam
- Verified the authentication of the games files
- Verified the .dll files in my system 32 with SFC to make sure I didn't have any corrupted or missing .dll files in my system 32.
I'm at a loss :/ below is a picture of the error message.

Same problem here. You are not alone. There's a sizeable thread on the steam forums about it, and sounds like they are working on a fix.

I had issues with Visual C++ 2015 needing to be repaired. Maybe try repairing ALL of the Visual C++ in the "Add or Remove Programs" menu in System Settings? Only idea I have. Fingers crossed it might work.
